I happened to be available for a last minute wedding this past September and was excited to book Kate and Josh’s wedding to be held at the bride’s mom’s home in Montauk. Montauk is the end of Long Island’s south shore and is known endearingly by locals as “the end”. The wedding was being hosted at the bride’s moms’ newly built home, that was an architectural beauty! I walked in and could not stop shooting, everything was light and bright, a photographers dream! The couple asked me to please keep it casual, we don’t want a lot a posed photos, ok, I said, but we will need a few couple and family portraits, is that ok? They agreed, but to just a few. With a backdrop over looking ditch plains on a beautiful sunny day, the sun and sea was a perfect backdrop. We kept it casual and just continued shooting everything, all the happiness, nerves and smiles, the shy dog, the gorgeous wedding party and the gorgeous surroundings, all day long, even as a little rain shower rained down during dinner which was held outside under the stars, we just kept shooting. I think in the end, (no pun intended!), the photos are a perfect description of the day and the couples wishes. Kinda cool, don’t you think? Please take a look and let me know what you think!
I shot this wedding with a mix of vintage film and modern digital cameras. I love how the photos turned out and how do you do as well!

Of course it was Pierre’s charm and good looks that brought this couple together. It was only natural that Pierre took center “stage” at their incredible wedding on top of the world at the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center. He’s an adorable french bulldog who worked his magic and pulled his cupid bow, striking at just the right moment to bring this sweet happy couple together. Good job Pierre.
Jessie and Brendan’s wedding was epic. Not epic in the epic sense, but epic in the EPIC sense! The Rainbow Room is an epic location and perfect for a jaw dropping first look, EPIC. You’ve got the Empire State building to one side, the East River on another and Central Park on the third side, and then there you are, you and your perfect match, (and your photographers!), and it’s just WOW.
Jessie and Brendan set their date for spring and took advantage of the beautiful blooms available in the market. They drenched the place in cherry blossoms that were just beautiful. They signify for so many of us the start of something new and in this case, something great. For their wedding, it was Art Deco meets adorable fun couple, meets new day! Not to mention they also had a custom Neon sign with their names on it. Awesome!
There are so many things I loved about this wedding but the photographs, to me, speak volumes.

A Meaningful Celebration:
Danielle and Brendan’s wedding is the definition of a meaningful celebration. In the midst of planning, Danielle’s father was diagnosed with stage IV cancer and the couple reoriented their wedding to what mattered most – her father’s attendance. On their big day, “My father was well enough to walk me down the aisle,” said Danielle. “And I was met by the most patient, supportive, and loving groom. It was perfect.”. Danielle, Brendan, her father, and the rest of their family gathered together to celebrate not just their wedding but her father being there. The wedding truly united families and friends. I’m so glad I got to be apart of this amazing day to celebrate love and life.
This wonderful couple planned everything with care and love. This wedding was not only heartwarming, it was absolutely gorgeous. Danielle looked stunning and Brendan looked dashing, of course. However, with all the care from the amazing venue to the beautiful stationary- every detail was planned intricately and precisely. This beautiful location in Locust, New York complimented the entire wedding beautifully. The blues and golds looked great and gave a modern yet classic feel to the wedding. These colors also helped enhance the beautiful nature of this venue, as well. This celebration of love and life was not just complete with the vendors or planning- the gorgeous family and friends truly bonded this wedding together!
It was such a pleasure to work with all of these vendors to put together Danielle and Brendan’s special day! Thank you all and I hope to work with you again!

Jihyea and Ben were married a few months before their wedding day! Together with their 40 closets friends and family, they planned a low key vow ceremony followed by a cocktail party and dinner at Locanda Verde. We had so much fun spending time with this sweet couple and wandering around Tribeca with them shooting portraits, I love the photos so much. We shot most of these with traditional film with a little digital!
All the best to this gorgeous couple!
