In the Garden: An Intimate Farm to Table Shabbat Welcome Dinner
Nathalie and Hugo’s Shabbat Welcome Dinner was held in an abundantly brimming vegetable garden at the Cedar Lakes Estate. Shabbat is the Jewish tradition of spending Friday night sharing a meal with friends and family to give thanks and rest, which I think is a perfect way to begin a wedding weekend! Guests ate at one long classic farm table at the center of a serene camping preserve. It was an idyllic summer meal, among their closest friends and family under the stars the night before their lakeside jewish wedding.
Elegant, Natural Styling
The vegetable garden made for a beautiful setting all on its own, but the decor and florals created by Social Life Planning and Faye and Renee really created a dinner table from a dream. Minimal lighting woven into lush summer greenery and multicolored floral arrangements (many of which included fruits) really called to mind an abundance of love, which is particularly evident in the summertime.
Family Is Everything
The final touches to this scene were the many smiles and the beaming moonlight. The sounds of the gathering were pleasant and joyful: clinking of wine glasses and laughter from stories and toasts. The most extraordinary part for the couple was to have Nathalie’s grandmother in attendance all the way from Israel. The emotions were grand and sweet, so loving, so happy!
